Tech Lead, Growth Technology

Summary 

The Tech Lead, Growth Technology is an individual contributor role in Information Technology responsible for the technical ownership, support, and improvement of Accruent’s marketing and commercial technology platforms, with a front-and-center focus on building practical AI models, AI-enabled projects, and automation solutions that improve how commercial teams operate. This role works closely with Marketing Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams to turn business needs into scalable platform solutions. 

The role is hands-on and requires someone who can administer platforms, troubleshoot integrations, improve data quality, build automation, and develop AI-driven tools, models, agents, and workflows that improve commercial processes, user productivity, data quality, support operations, and decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Build, test, and iterate on AI models, AI agents, workflows, and related projects that solve practical business problems across marketing, sales, channel, and commercial operations. 

• Administer and support HubSpot, including workflows, forms, properties, permissions, lifecycle processes, lead routing, and Salesforce synchronization. 

• Own technical support and improvements for commercial technology platforms such as ZoomInfo, RingLead, Allbound, and related tools. 

• Troubleshoot platform, integration, and data flow issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes. 

• Support and improve data quality processes, including enrichment, normalization, deduplication, field mapping, and governance. 

• Design, build, and maintain automations and integrations across marketing and sales systems using tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, APIs, webhooks, and custom workflow actions. 

• Support the technical operation and evolution of the partner portal, including issue triage, synchronization support, and process documentation. 

• Identify, evaluate, and implement practical AI-enabled solutions, including model-driven workflows and internal AI tools, that improve productivity, data quality, automation, reporting, support operations, or user experience across the commercial technology stack. 

• Partner with business stakeholders to find areas where AI can reduce manual work, improve process quality, or make platform support more scalable. 

• Translate business requirements from Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales, and Channel stakeholders into practical technical solutions. 

• Document key processes, configurations, integrations, AI use cases, and support procedures so solutions are maintainable. 

• Recommend platform and process improvements that simplify the commercial technology ecosystem and reduce manual effort. 

Qualifications 

• Experience building or contributing to AI models, AI agents, automation projects, or applied AI solutions that support business workflows. 

• Hands-on experience administering HubSpot in a B2B environment. 

• Experience supporting marketing technology, sales technology, revenue operations systems, commercial systems, or a closely related discipline. 

• Strong understanding of lead management, lifecycle stages, routing, campaign infrastructure, account-based marketing, and marketing-to-sales handoffs. 

• Experience designing and maintaining workflow automations, integrations, and cross-platform data flows. 

• Comfort working with APIs, reading and manipulating code, troubleshooting technical issues, and learning unfamiliar tools or processes. 

• Experience with data governance, enrichment, normalization, deduplication, and field mapping. 

• Working knowledge of AI-enabled business tools, AI automation concepts, or applied AI use cases in sales, marketing, operations, analytics, or support processes. 

• Ability to evaluate where AI is useful, where it is not, and how to apply it responsibly within business systems and workflows. 

• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, implementable technical solutions. 

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. 

• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and follow issues through resolution. 

• Experience with ZoomInfo, RingLead, Allbound, Salesforce integrations, Power Automate, Zapier, REST APIs, webhooks, AI agents, or AI-enabled business solutions is preferred.
