Tech Lead NodeJS + AWS/Cloud

We’re hiring a Tech Lead – I with 5+ years of experience to design, scale, and maintain backend services for enterprise applications.

You should be strong in NodeJS/NestJS, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), with a passion for building secure, scalable systems.

You’ll collaborate with UI, DevOps, QA, client, and compliance teams to deliver a robust and secure platform for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with NodeJS (NestJS).
  

• Work with MySQL/Prisma ORM for efficient schema design and optimized queries.
  

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS; Azure/GCP a plus) for reliability and cost efficiency.
  

• Implement secure encryption/decryption (AES256, AWS KMS) for services, files, payloads, and databases.
  

• Partner with DevOps to streamline deployments via Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  

• Develop and document APIs with Swagger/JSDoc and support client integrations.
  

• Ensure PCI DSS and security compliance through audits and secure coding practices.
  

• Collaborate with client engineering, DevOps, QA, compliance, and security teams.
  

• Contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
  

• Drive technical best practices and leadership within the engineering team.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend development with NodeJS/TypeScript.
  

• Strong expertise in AWS (Azure/GCP nice to have).
  

• Solid background in MySQL and ORM frameworks (Prisma preferred).
  

• Proven experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and API lifecycle management.
  

• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.
  

• Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  

Good to Have (Training/Exposure Provided)

• Experience with NextJS / Expo or frontend-backend integration.
  

• Exposure to multi-tenant cloud environments (AWS).
  

• Familiarity with confidential computing frameworks (e.g., Anjuna).
  

• Experience with compliance-driven financial projects.
  

• Knowledge of encryption/decryption strategies and secure key management.
