Job Description - Tech Lead, PHP

Manage and deliver projects from conceptualization & visualization to technology mapping and final execution including scope/change requests.
Interact with Clients to create technical specifications from business & functional requirements.

1. Guide team in defining the technical architecture of their projects, including working with them to finalize the DB schema.

2. Manage, mentor, and provide technical guidance/support to the team.

3. Review & improve code, performance, stability, and scalability of deliverables.

4. Improve the technical competence of the team through training & development.

5. Monitor development & unit-testing activities and report project progress.

Skills & Experience:

1. 12+ years of experience in PHP development (Core PHP, frameworks like Laravel, Cake PHP, CMS systems like WordPress, etc.).

2. Strong experience in front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, JScript, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).

3. Strong experience in design, implementation, and optimization of RDBMS databases, especially MySQL/MariaDB.

4. Experience in developing technical/software design of the application.

5. Proven experience in planning, execution, and implementation of high-quality software projects including experience with project management tools like Jira and Taiga.

6. Experience in client relationship management, project coordination, and delivery management in an onsite-offshore model.

7. Experience in iterative development methodologies like Agile.

8. Experience with DevOps (CI/CD, etc.).

9. Experience in microservices and serverless computing (preferred).

10. Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills).
