Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and technology roadmap for the organization's Loan Origination System (LOS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting enterprise-scale lending platforms within the NBFC/BFSI domain and driving scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture and technology roadmap for the Loan Origination System (LOS).


• Design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise applications using modern architecture principles.


• Collaborate with business, product, operations, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Drive architectural governance, design reviews, coding standards, and best engineering practices.


• Design systems that ensure high availability, fault tolerance, security, and optimal performance.


• Lead the adoption of microservices architecture, workflow engines, and cloud-native technologies.


• Evaluate and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the lending platform.


• Guide internal engineering teams and external vendors on architectural standards and implementation.


• Participate in vendor evaluations, RFP discussions, and technology selection.


• Ensure compliance with data privacy, information security, and regulatory standards.


• Support Agile delivery, DevOps adoption, CI/CD implementation, and distributed system design.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 14–18 years of overall software architecture and enterprise application development experience.


• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting or managing Loan Origination Systems (LOS) within an NBFC or BFSI organization.


• Strong expertise in Digital Lending Platforms and lending domain architecture.


• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and Workflow Engines.


• Experience integrating with Credit Bureaus, KYC Platforms, and other third-party financial services.


• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and distributed systems.


• Expertise in RDBMS, NoSQL databases, caching technologies, and performance optimization.


• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based application architecture.


• Strong understanding of security, scalability, resilience, and enterprise architecture best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in education lending, retail lending, or digital lending platforms.


• Prior experience evaluating and implementing enterprise LOS products.


• Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized deployments.


• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
