About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be at the intersection of IT and Finance, working with global teams to build, enhance, and support critical business applications. You'll play an essential role in ensuring our financial close processes run seamlessly while continuously looking for ways to improve our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  Drive change implementation by gathering and translating business requirements for developers, including providing comprehensive testing support

  Support financial close processes by operating interfaces and efficiently resolving incidents

  Monitor and maintain system interfaces, ensuring high data quality and integrity across platforms

  Analyze system processes, identify errors, and propose innovative improvements

  Build and share knowledge about applications and processes across the organization

About the Team

The FDF IETV Integration team is a global, diverse team of IT Business Analysts and Application Engineers responsible for integrating various data streams into a unified system, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across multiple processes. Working with this team means collaborating with talented professionals from different backgrounds and cultures, all focused on delivering excellence.

About You

You're a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment. You have strong analytical skills and can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a global team.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  Experience in a similar IT Business Analyst role, particularly in financial or enterprise systems

  
  


• 
  

  Strong technical background with application integration and databases, proficient in SQL and experienced with ETL processes

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team

  
  

These are additional nice to haves:

  Familiarity with JSON, JavaScript, Databricks, Apache Spark and Apache Kafka

  Experience working with financial systems or in the insurance/reinsurance industry
