Technical Co-Founder, startup Ninja

Looking for a technical co-founder to join forces with.

In terms of skill set, the most important one is the attitude. Someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm can work wonders in my opinion. It requires the person to be devoted to make it big! Technical skills needed to do the job include

• SQL etc.


• Also experience in web services is a big plus.


• Knowledge of iOS and Android development will make this person 100% complete.

About my background, I graduated from IIT Guwahati and then did my MS from Georgia Tech in US. Joined the core team at a service based startup in Atlanta, US and worked with them for about 7 years. That company got acquired by a private equity firm based in Florida and after sticking around for one year after the takeover, I finally packed my bags and came down to India around Diwali time last year.

Launched in November 2011, pursuing this venture actively with another co-founder from IIT Kharagpur. Launched two new lines of business few weeks back and that has opened the flood gates in terms of work. Had meetings with investors and we decided upon a three month timeframe and specific goals. I have a good feeling about this project that we might get decent size funding. We are also looking to hire a entry level sales person for this venture.

This is like my pet project but it hasn’t been launched yet. First version is going to be ready mid-May. Have a team of three developers working on it right now. It’s a b2b business model and we have already lined up two decent size customers for beta trial.

Appitechture was launched in February 2012. Currently we have a team of five including me. Profiles of other member s are as follows. One of them is purely into sales and is actively working on creating sales channels. Other person is multi-functional; he works as business analyst, graphic & interaction designer, sales, marketing and communications. Both of these members are based in US. On the technical side, we have two part time developers working on the project from Bangalore. Hope to be able to bring both of these full time soon.

Launched in 2007, this is a profitable business that I founded with an IIT Delhi alumnus. He ended up selling his stake to launch his own factory couple of years back. Since then I have been managing the show along with a partial stake holder. His name is Varun and he is based in a place near Chandigarh. His role is of a content manager and business & communications manager. Currently the site is going through major overhaul under Varun and my supervision, we have hired a small team of contractors in Bangalore.
