About the role

In this role, you will serve our customers and teammates who encounter our writing in many places: the Help Center, FAQs, release notes, in-app copy, and more. You’ll own all of these and ensure they feel accurate, current, and part of one connected experience, rather than a collection of separate, disconnected pieces.

You'll be the first person to join our new Customer Education function, which means you'll have the opportunity to build the playbook from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Own customer education end-to-end across the product. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to ensure every customer interaction with our documentation feels clear, consistent, and genuinely helpful.


• Build the customer education function from the ground up. You'll define how we create, organize, and maintain documentation as our product evolves, setting the standards and systems that scale with the company.


• Own our Help Center and knowledge base. From product guides and FAQs to troubleshooting articles and playbooks, you'll ensure customers always have the right answers at the right time.


• Turn product changes into customer understanding. You'll write release notes that explain not just what's new, but why it matters, helping customers adopt new features with confidence.


• Own our API documentation end-to-end. You'll write, structure, publish, and continuously maintain developer documentation as our APIs evolve, ensuring customers and integration partners always have accurate, easy-to-follow references and examples.


• Create content beyond words. Produce short screen-recorded tutorials, GIFs, and visual walkthroughs that make learning our product faster and more intuitive.


• Drive clarity across the product experience. From in-app copy to API documentation and onboarding resources, you'll help create one connected experience rather than a collection of disconnected documents.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of technical writing or product documentation experience, with meaningful time in B2B SaaS.


• A portfolio that demonstrates product documentation — Help Center articles, user guides, FAQs, release notes, onboarding content, or API documentation. We're looking for documentation that helps users succeed, not marketing blogs.


• Strong technical writing fundamentals. You simplify complex concepts into plain, direct language that feels like a person explaining something to another person—not corporate documentation.


• Comfort working with modern documentation tools like GitBook, Document360, Intercom, Zendesk, Confluence, or similar platforms. Experience writing API documentation is a strong plus.


• AI fluency goes without saying. We expect you to actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent) to research, write, edit, and improve documentation. This is how we work.


• You're curious about products and users. You ask good questions, challenge assumptions, and proactively identify documentation gaps before customers run into them.
