Job Description:
Experience 9 to 10 yrs.
Deep experience with Shared VPCs, GKE, Workload Identity, Service Accounts, and Load Balancing (L4/L7, SNI, and TLS termination).
Proficiency in Kubernetes primitives, including Deployments, RBAC, Network Policies, Storage Classes, PVs, and PVCs.
Expertise in GKE-specific networking, specifically Pod and Service CIDR management.
Strong understanding of Mutual TLS (mTLS), token-based authentication, and the mechanics of Root and Intermediate CA chains.
Experience troubleshooting DNS split-horizon issues, proxy-only subnets, and cross-project artifact permissions.
Ability to lead network design changes, including new connectivity models, PSC or PSA design, and complex routing.
Hands-on capability for routine GKE and Istio troubleshooting and operational tasks.
Experience with basic monitoring, building dashboards, and performing initial incident triage.
Proven track record using Jenkins for CI/CD and automation.
Advanced skills in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools including Grafana and Prometheus.
