The SLB Pune India Technology Center (PITC) has a fundamental and critical role in this corporate transformation and for delivering digital solutions to the larger SLB organization.\n\n# About Role \u0026 Responsibilities\n\nAs a Technical Application Specialist, you are expected to...\n\n * Continually learn about new technologies, generate new ideas and improve the use of modern technologies across our application portfolio.\n * Formulate and defines system scope and objectives.\n * Program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.\n * Designs, implements, and deploys solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet our APM needs.\n * Understand the business or function for which application is designed. \n * Utilize existing Configuration and thereby enhancing Application Portfolio Management (APM) as needed.\n * Utilize strong technical competencies and expertise to identify, analyse and troubleshoot any production issues and maintain procedures that meet business user expectations.\n * Work closely with cross-functional teams \u0026 development teams to understand and provide automated solutions/fixes.\n * Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery and Support Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of the user and stakeholder needs and requirements.\n * Participate in SCRUM events and complete assigned items within the determined Sprint target.\n * Meet with key stakeholders and follow up with action items for any workarounds necessary as per the nature of the requirements.\n\n\n\n### People\n\n * Create a culture of integrity and compliance.\n * Inspire and sustain technical excellence, high performance, and urgency regarding improving current practices.\n * Self-Motivated and a go-to person\n * Eye for detail\n * Strive to drive results.\n\n\n\n### Business\n\n * Perform change management, incident management activities\n * Engage with the business segments and internal stakeholders to communicate issue/outage updates\n * Work closely with analysts, Managers and SMEs\n * Apply your knowledge and experience to innovate and contribute to the company vision\n\n\n\n## Qualifications and Requirements\n\n### Essential qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s Degree in Computer Science or related field\n * ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)\n * Certified Application Portfolio Management (APM) Implementation Specialist OR\n * Certified Enterprise Architecture (EA) Implementation Delivery Accreditation\n * Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills\n\n\n\n### Key competencies\n\n * 8-10 Years total experience in IT Related fields\n * Experience working in ServiceNow platform as an Admin \u0026 Developer\n * Experience in development of service catalogs, implementing ACLs, transform maps, Flows via flow designer, client scripts, CMDB health metrics, bubble charts configuration\n * Configuring Assessments, Demands, Business Capability Maps, Information Objects.\n * 5+ years of ServiceNow administration experience in the following areas: Service Catalog, CMDB \u0026 Discovery, Service Portal, Workflows, Dashboards, REST APIs, Software Asset Management\n * Prior extensive working experience on ServiceNow APM module\n * Familiar with ServiceNow Agentic AI\n\n\n\n### Other skills and abilities\n\n * Ability to adapt quickly to learn new tools, new technologies, and current industry standards\n * Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.\n * Ability to work in global distributed setting without supervision\n * Self-driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking\n * Intermediate knowledge of development languages: XML, HTML, CSS, Java, and Java Script\n * Certified Scrum Master would be added advantage.\n * Integrated GenAI into business applications to automate repetitive tasks, improve customer engagement, and drive innovation.\n * Familiar with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and ethical considerations in deploying GenAI solutions at scale.\n\n\n\n# SLB as an employer\n\nAs a leading employer in our industry, SLB is proud to offer a highly competitive package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
