Technical Manager for SaaS Development Company - Website Learners

Location: Chennai, T. Nagar

Website Learners is a rapidly growing SaaS development company focused on creating innovative products for content creators and businesses alike. We are the team behind videorespond.com (a video collaboration tool), gravitywrite (an AI-based content writing app), vidrapid (a YouTube summary tool powered by ChatGPT), makeyourwp.com, and webspacekit.com.

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Technical Manager with a strong full-stack development background to join our team in Chennai, T. Nagar. The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end technologies, and will be responsible for clearing technical roadblocks faced by our developers on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the development team in creating, maintaining, and improving our suite of products

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, identifying and clearing roadblocks as needed

• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards

• Evaluate new technologies and tools to optimize the development process and enhance product offerings

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Vue.js, Bootstrap, Node.js, Express.js, Firebase, and Firestore Cloud Service for SaaS product development

• Experience with WordPress and PHP for makeyourwp.com and webspacekit.com

• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Experience in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full-stack development role

• At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership or management position

• Proven track record of managing development teams and delivering successful products

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to think strategically

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
