About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with deep expertise in Moodle LMS, responsible for designing, implementing, and leading scalable eLearning solutions. This is a full-time, onsite role in our Noida office. You will lead Moodle projects, mentor developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and customized LMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, customization, and deployment of Moodle LMS solutions.

• Manage upgrades, plugin/theme development, API integrations, and performance optimization.

• Architect and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP exposure a plus).

• Oversee system architecture, backups, disaster recovery, and security compliance.

• Set up and manage source code repositories and CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket.

• Mentor developers/administrators, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across LMS, integrations, and hosting environments.

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Drive project execution with project planning, timelines, and delivery tracking.

• Provide thought leadership by evaluating new technologies and approaches to enhance LMS delivery.

Critical Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in Moodle LMS: installation, configuration, customization, plugin/theme development, integrations.

• Hands-on experience with PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and web technologies.

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, Lambda); exposure to Azure/GCP is a plus.

• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Solid understanding of system security, performance tuning, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, New Relic, ELK stack).

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, mentoring, and client-facing communication.

• Knowledge of other LMS platforms or eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI) is an advantage.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

Education & Certifications (Preferred):

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• AWS/Azure/GCP certifications or project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
