Job Description

Overview: At ChiStats, we’re looking for a Technical
Lead to drive high-impact engineering outcomes for a forward-thinking
client in the Insurance & Data Science sector. You'll join a team
that thrives on innovation, solving real-world problems using cutting-edge
Python stacks, scalable APIs, modern databases, and cloud-native in.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor
  a development team, ensuring timely delivery, code quality, and skill
  growth
  
• Manage customer
  communication, understand requirements, provide technical clarity, and
  ensure satisfaction
  
• Develop and
  maintain scalable codebases, including new framework design, enhancements,
  and production-grade pipelines
  
• Collaborate
  with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to align development
  goals with business objectives
  
• Ensure code
  quality through reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best
  practices
  
• Identify and
  resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical challenges in live
  systems
  
• Document
  architecture, workflows, and key decisions, ensuring smooth knowledge
  transfer and maintainability
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s
  degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• Excellent
  communication and leadership skills are a must for this role.
  
• Effectively
  conveying ideas and creative concepts to clients, ensuring clear
  communication and alignment with their vision and objectives.
  
• 6+
  years of professional experience in software development with a focus on
  Python.
  
• Proven
  experience in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end
  technologies.
  
• Proven
  experience in client handling and managing a tech team.
  
• Experience
  with server-side frameworks and libraries (e.g., Django, Flask).
  
• Proficiency
  in cloud services (preferably AWS) and containerization tools (Docker,
  Kubernetes).
  
• Solid
  understanding of database technologies, both relational (MySQL,
  PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  
• Experience
  in developing CI/CD pipelines, data pipelines with best practices.
  
• Strong
  problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity for critical and creative
  thinking.
  
• Good
  understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and
  related frameworks (Node.js, AngularJS, ReactJS)
