Job Description - Technical Product Manager

Role Overview

This is a deeply technical, delivery -focused PM role. You will own the product end -to -end and act as the connective tissue between customers, engineering, design, GTM, and leadership. We are looking for a systems -thinker and a closer — someone who can move from a customer conversation to a whiteboard, to a PRD, to a shipped, measurable feature while thriving in structured chaos.

Equally important, you are the person who gets it done. You build trust with clients, translate ambiguity into clear solutions, drive the technical team to ship on time, and turn even the sparsest customer input into precise, build -ready requirements.

Core Responsibilities

Roadmap & Strategy

  • Define, prioritize, and evolve the product roadmap from vision through delivery and iteration.
  • Balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility when making prioritization calls.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Own the full delivery lifecycle: planning, scoping, sequencing, risk management, and on -time release.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and trade -offs across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Run effective sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery cadences; keep work unblocked and moving.
  • Hold the line on scope, quality, and deadlines, and communicate status clearly to leadership.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong, trust -based relationships with clients and serve as a confident, credible point of contact.
  • Lead discovery conversations, demos, and feedback sessions; represent the customer's voice internally.
  • Manage expectations across customers and internal stakeholders, and negotiate scope with both.

Solutioning

  • Translate ambiguous business and customer problems into clear, viable solution options.
  • Partner with engineering on solution design, technical trade -offs, and the path from problem to product.
  • Frame the "what" and "why" sharply enough that the team can confidently own the "how."

Requirements & User Stories

  • Take minimal customer input — sometimes just keywords or a rough idea — and expand it into complete, well -structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements.
  • Fill the gaps intelligently: infer intent, surface edge cases, and validate assumptions before they reach the team.
  • Produce clear PRDs and stories that engineering and design can build from with minimal back -and -forth.

Driving Technical Execution

  • Get the work done through the technical team — drive engineers toward outcomes, not just outputs, without relying on formal authority.
  • Engage deeply on architecture decisions, technical trade -offs, and system design.
  • Remove blockers, hold the team accountable to commitments, and ensure delivery against the roadmap.

Data, Design & Performance

  • Use product analytics, customer feedback, and business metrics to inform prioritization.
  • Partner with UX/UI to improve usability, workflows, and customer experience.
  • Define and report on KPIs such as activation, retention, expansion, and revenue impact with precision.

Requirements

Requirements

Technical Depth

  • Can explain product architecture, data flow, and database design choices.
  • Comfortable debating technical trade -offs in engineering discussions.
  • Familiar with cloud -native systems, APIs, or distributed architectures.

Delivery & Project Management

  • Proven track record of shipping on time across complex, multi -team initiatives.
  • Strong command of project management fundamentals: planning, dependency and risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Client Engagement & Solutioning

  • Demonstrated ability to engage clients directly, build trust, and manage relationships.
  • Skilled at turning vague or keyword -level input into clear solutions and build -ready requirements.

End -to -End Ownership

  • Proven ability to own a roadmap and make difficult calls under ambiguity.
  • Can articulate personal role in product decisions and outcomes, not just the team's.

Execution & Impact

  • Structured problem -solving skills that break down complex issues.
  • Demonstrable quantified outcomes, such as % improvement or ARR impact.
