Job Description - Technical Program Manager, Program Lead

## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects \u2014 you\u0027re orchestrating breakthroughs in support of defining the next generation. You\u0027ll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution, blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.\n\nIn this role, you will directly contribute to the successful implementation of key strategic programs and drive towards implementation of standardized project management processes.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Work closely with Global Product Engineering teams in identifying projects, oversee the optimization or creation of technical product offerings, processes, or programs, developing project plans, aligning teams, managing risk, and driving projects through release.\n * Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meets business requirements on time and within budget.\n * Partner with stakeholders to understand process and system requirements, and deliver enhancements based on a changing technology landscape.\n * Lead Continuous Improvement projects from inception to impactful results.\n * Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.\n * Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process and inspire alignment.\n * Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintains long-term success.\n * Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.\n * Coordinate clear decision-making and communication across key stakeholders.\n * Decision tracking and record-keeping for lessons learned and CIP, with regular progress and accountability reporting.\n * Regular (monthly) accountability reviews with executive staff where current status and key decisions are reviewed and made.\n * Develop project management best practices and implement across the department; report progress against goals at quarterly executive forums.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\nMinimum Qualification:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience; or Master\u0027s degree in engineering with 10+ years\u0027 relevant experience\n * Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects/programs including ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.\n * Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.\n * Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive projects across geographical boundaries.\n * Strong data analysis skills and experience in extracting information from data and translating findings into an executable plan.\n * Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the company.\n * Knowledge on project management software and tools like MS Project, Power BI, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Experience or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.\n * Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development \u0026 Release (PDR) procedures.\n * Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.\n * Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus.\n * Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
