Job Description - Technical Project Manager - CPSS

Job Summary: The Technical Project Manager is the primary facilitator for agile delivery teams. In this role, you are responsible for the daily execution of EPMO standards. You will facilitate standard Agile ceremonies, ensure strict data hygiene in Jira, and support release activities. You act as the first line of defense for process adherence, ensuring that the "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done" are met. You will work under the guidance of Senior TPMs to resolve complex blockers, allowing you to focus on team -level throughput and predictability.

Key Responsibilities (Execution & Adherence):

Facilitation & Clarity: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Stand -ups, Planning, Retros) with a focus on clear agendas and actionable outputs. You ensure every meeting results in shared understanding, not just attendance.

Hygiene & Feedback: Enforce data standards in Jira not just by auditing, but by communicating gaps to engineers constructively. You coach the team on why the data matters for reporting.

Release Signaling: execute pre -deployment checklists and actively broadcast status updates (Green/Yellow/Red) to the workstream leads (PMO, Product & Engineering). You are the "voice of the team" during critical windows.

Blocker Broadcasting: Identify impediments and immediately communicate them to the Senior TPM. You translate technical blockers into clear business impacts so leadership can act quickly.

Transparency: You are the team's "Signal Tower." Your commitment to clear, timely communication ensures that stakeholders always know the true status of work, eliminating "surprise" delays.

Data Governance: You drive the integrity of the EPMO. By enforcing strict Jira hygiene and data standards, you turn raw ticket data into reliable metrics that leadership can trust for decision -making.

Release Reliability: Your rigorous management of release checklists and deployment logistics safeguards the production environment and ensures value is delivered to customers safely.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical project management or Scrum Master roles, specifically within software development teams.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent practical experience in IT project delivery.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Jira (managing boards, workflows, and dashboards) and Confluence. You must be comfortable navigating technical terminology.

Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to run effective meetings (Stand -ups, Planning, Retrospectives) that result in clear action items and shared understanding.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to synthesize complex technical updates into clear "Red/Yellow/Green" status reports for business stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements

Agile Certification: CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PSM (Professional Scrum Master), or similar Agile certification.

Regulated Industry Experience: Prior experience in Financial Services or Fintech, specifically understanding the rigor required for Change Management and compliance.

Release Operations: Experience using release management tools or coordinating go -live activities across Development, QA, and DevOps teams.

Data Literacy: Ability to interpret Agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time) and use them to coach teams toward better efficiency.

Conflict Resolution: Experience navigating team friction and course correcting when quality or data standards are not met.

AI Fluency: Demonstrated comfort using AI -enabled productivity and project management tools to increase efficiency, with the judgment to apply them responsibly within a regulated environment.
