Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Executive to join our client team in West India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales and marketing of industrial gear motors, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader and contribute to our continued success in the region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for industrial gear motors in the assigned territory. Identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to educate clients on the features and benefits of our industrial gear motors. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maximize business opportunities. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies and pricing guidelines. Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software, providing regular reports and updates to management. Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and expand the distributor network for industrial gear motors in the assigned territory. Identify and recruit new distributors, conducting thorough market research and evaluation to ensure alignment with company objectives and values. Provide training, support, and guidance to distributors to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. 2-15 years of prior work experience in sales and marketing of industrial gear motors or similar technical products. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market environment. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex engineering concepts to clients. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all levels. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required. Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
