Job Description - Technical Support

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1200000 - Rs 1500000 (ie INR 12-15 LPA)

Min Experience: 4 years

Location: Mumbai

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role requires deep technical expertise in supporting, customizing, and enhancing solutions across D365 Finance & Operations (F&O), CRM, SCM, Marketing, Merchandising, and Retail modules.

The ideal candidate will combine strong development capabilities with functional understanding, ensuring stable system performance, seamless integrations, and continuous improvements across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, customization, and enhancement for Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments
  • Architect and implement technical solutions within D365 F&O / CRM / SCM / Marketing / Retail modules
  • Develop new objects and customize standard objects using X++, extensions (CoC), and event handlers
  • Work with Visual Studio, SSRS reports, Business Operational Framework, and Data Entities
  • Design and manage integrations with third-party systems
  • Configure and customize workflows within Dynamics 365
  • Implement and maintain role-based security models
  • Utilize Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and release management
  • Follow Microsoft Sure Step methodology for structured, full-lifecycle implementations
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and provide ongoing system optimization
  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical support (F&O / CRM / SCM / Marketing / Retail)
  • Strong development expertise in X++, Visual Studio, SSRS Reports, Business Operational Framework, and Data Entities
  • Experience extending standard AOT objects using Chain of Command (CoC) and event handlers
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and strong understanding of OOPS concepts
  • Experience integrating third-party systems and designing workflows
  • Good knowledge of LCS and Azure DevOps for deployment and project management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sure Step methodology
  • Exposure to PowerApps, LogicApps, OData Services, Azure Blob Storage, and other Azure services (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the functional capabilities of Dynamics 365
