Technical Writer

POSITION
SUMMARY

Technical Writer will be responsible for individually creating
and maintaining the end user product documentation, including but not limited
to user guides, online help, release guides, tutorials, and other ad hoc
documentation deliverables such as developing videos using Captivate.

PRINCIPLE
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Organize and complete writing assignment according to set
standards. Ensure brevity, clarity, conciseness, and adherence to the style
guide and terminology guidelines.

·       Create self -learning tutorial videos using Captivate.

·       Create and maintain product documentation for concurrent
and past releases.

·       Develop a strong knowledge of the product to be regarded
as an SME.

·       Collaborate effectively with cross -functional teams to
gather information.

·       Ensure delivery of quality documentation by following
review and delivery processes and procedures.

·       Ensure proper storage and archiving of documentation by
following version control policies and procedures.

·       Ensure strict adherence to the delivery schedules.

·       Experience creating CBTs, and technical documentation for
administrator and end user audience.

·       Intermediate to expert level experience with documentation
tools: Adobe TCS (FrameMaker, Robohelp, and Captivate)

·       Excellent technical writing skills and ability to peer
review technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing.

·       Ability to work under tight timelines.

·       Experience using version control tools such as Git.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Independent, self -driven, and collaborative.

·       Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast -paced
environment.

·       Ability to work well in a team, and with minimum
supervision.

·       Knowledge of single -sourcing can be an advantage.

·       3+ years of experience in technical writing/ documentation
