In technology leadership and strategy at PwC, you will focus on leading large technology teams and partnering with technology and business leaders across the enterprise for common goals, mutual responsibility, and accountability. You will own multiple aspects of the technology delivery cycle, lead executive stakeholder management, have large teams and a substantial fiduciary responsibility. Additionally, you will set and execute the domain strategy aligned with business goals, prioritisation, and demand.

Translating the vision, you set the tone, and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a large, geographically distributed engineering practice. As a Director you will set the strategic direction, drive business growth, and cultivate substantial relationships with executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and client priorities.

Responsibilities

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree

- 20 years of progressive experience in IT services, with a strong track record of leading large-scale delivery portfolios and engineering practices

- Deep expertise in technical project management, program execution, and managing multi-location delivery teams for Fortune 500 or global enterprise clients

- Proven experience in building and managing high-performance teams across geographies, including responsibility for utilization, workforce planning, and team engagement

- Extensive knowledge of software development, system architecture, and relevant technologies

- Solid understanding of modern development practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), and emerging tech trends

- Strong background in managing client relationships at the executive level

- Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives such as delivery transformation

- Hands-on experience in managing complex solutioning and pre-sales engagements

- In-depth knowledge of delivery governance practices, quality frameworks, risk management, and compliance in a global services environment

- Strong financial acumen with experience managing delivery P&Ls

- Superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

- Passion for developing future leaders through structured mentoring

- Recognized as a thought leader or practice anchor

- Experience with Agile delivery models and CI/CD automation

- Oral and written proficiency in English required
