Job Description: Telecaller / Telecounselor

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Telecaller / Telecounselor to handle patient inquiries through phone calls and WhatsApp. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to follow up with prospective patients, and a strong focus on converting inquiries into appointments.

Candidates with experience in healthcare, cosmetology, patient counseling, or sales will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Inquiry Management

• Respond to incoming calls and WhatsApp inquiries promptly, ideally within 60 seconds.
  

• Ensure all open inquiries are addressed and updated on the same day.
  

• Follow up with prospective patients regularly to maintain engagement.
  

• Provide accurate information about clinic services and assist patients with their inquiries.
  

2. Appointment Booking and Conversion

• Counsel prospective patients and encourage them to book appointments.
  

• Achieve a minimum monthly inquiry-to-appointment conversion rate of 10%.
  

• Monitor daily conversion performance and work towards achieving assigned targets.
  

• Follow up with interested patients to improve appointment bookings.
  

3. Data Entry and Record Management

• Enter all leads accurately into the clinic's software.
  

• Ensure lead records match the inquiries received from marketing.
  

• Update inquiry records with follow-up status, cancellations, and rescheduled appointments.
  

• Record confirmed appointments in the designated tracking sheet.
  

4. Reporting and Coordination

• Share a daily closing report with the team before leaving.
  

• Report the total number of inquiries received during the day.
  

• Track inquiries received from outside Trivandrum.
  

• Share the names of patients and appointments booked for the following day.
  

• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth patient inquiry management.
  

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate degree is mandatory.
  

• 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, customer service, or sales.
  

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam.
  

• Strong follow-up, persuasion, and patient counseling skills.
  

• Good data entry and record-keeping abilities.
  

• Ability to multitask and respond quickly to inquiries.
  

• Comfortable working with daily targets and conversion metrics.
  

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets or CRM software.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, cosmetology, clinics, or patient counseling.
  

• Previous experience converting inquiries into appointments or sales.
  

• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and handle inquiries effectively.
