Job Description - Territory Manager

This position is open for experienced and energetic Business Development professionals who can proactively build relationships with the clients, partners, vendors and responsible for revenue and business growth.

As a Key member of the team, you will demonstrate your deep techno commercial expertise and customer facing skills to develop and execute on the team’s organizational strategy.

This role is client -facing and collaborates with multiple departments including project managers, field sales, engineering, ops, finance, delivery teams, marketing etc., at all levels

The Engagement manager activities include stitching the right services & supporting technical proposal, preparing sophisticated Sales proposals and creating support documents and collateral needed to close business deals effectively.

You will be closely working with the Regional Manager/ Director and Management team.

  • Understand products and services offered by HTH Global Network partner Services and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external clients.
  • Willing to travel throughout the designated region and expand the business.
  • Accountable for growing the client base, program enhancements, add -ons, new business, business expansion, while improving client and company ROI.
  • Ensure customers realize their ROI, improve operations, scope new business opportunities and identify areas for strategic growth.
  • Responsible for managing assigned accounts and facilitate new sales of the product in the large enterprise segment in the region.
  • Responsible for mining of the accounts to identify & materialise upselling & cross selling opportunities to achieve their targets.
  • Prepare and monitor reports such as; back order reports, pricing discrepancies, licensing expirations, contract renewals, cost savings, other reports as needed
  • All aspects of accounts maintenance and daily sales functions
  • You will supervise, mentor, and train Team Members who assist with on -site visitations and presentations to cater to the needs of our customers.
  • Work with internal Support and Implementation teams to ensure on time resolution of Client’s technical issues, change requests, customization requests.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to review services, monitor SLAs, manage escalations and deliver value reports.
  • Forecast and execute Booking, Billing and Collection figures.
  • Focus on brand development and exceeding sales goals of our clientele.
  • Track and monitor performance and sales of key accounts to manage their performance.
  • Number centric and Strives to meet or exceed sales targets on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Attend to sales enquires, generate sales quotations and provide detailed technical advice on products /services.
  • Provide regular and accurate reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with leadership, customers, and extended team and partners.
  • Participate in team -building and company -growth activities including strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and customer care.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions, attending events, participating in training sessions.
  • Accomplishes department and organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and renewal goals.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.


Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent, in Business, IT. MBA is a plus.
  • 5 -7 years of IT experience in sales, regional management, business development, Vendor Management or partner management. 
  • High drive and energy with the ability to handle multiple actions and facets effectively and quickly. Need to have perfect organisational and Leadership skills.
  • Business analysis, critical thinking, conflict management and problem -solving skills.
  • Strong field -based enterprise sales experience. Complex sales / solution sales and extensive large figure deal experience.
  • Ability to create business cases and articulate business value proposition to the customer.
  • Ability to develop and execute Business Development strategies, sales tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs.
  • Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self -directed and resourceful.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written for influencing and leading customer facing engagements.
  • Ability to speak the local language is desirable
  • Consistent over achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory.
  • Knowledge in IT products, and interest in emerging technology or programming is a plus
  • Hands on familiarity using Microsoft office and presentation skills.
