Job Description - Territory Manager (Inside Sales)

We’re hiring a Territory Manager (Inside Sales) for one of India's most popular internet companies. Based in Mumbai, you will lead a large inside-sales hub that converts inbound B2C leads into revenue.

As Territory Manager, you will:


  • Own end-to-end P&L and revenue targets for a 45- to 50-member sales floor.

  • Manage and coach Assistant Managers / Team Leaders (direct reports) and Sales Advisors (indirect reports).

  • Step in on live customer calls to help advisors close high-value deals.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing (lead flow), Training (skill gaps), and Quality (call audits) to drive continuous improvement.

  • Build a performance culture that balances high output with strong team engagement and low attrition.



Requirements

  • 4–8 years of B2C inside-sales leadership experience (field-sales backgrounds will not be considered).
  • Proven track record managing teams of 30+ representatives with a mix of direct and indirect reports.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and ability to exceed revenue targets.
  • Hands-on leadership style: comfortable taking customer calls to support closing.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willing to work on-site in Mumbai.
