As a Test Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data used across banking and financial services testing initiatives. You will work closely with QA, development, and business stakeholders to support complex testing scenarios by preparing, validating, and managing test data across multiple systems. This role requires a strong understanding of financial data, hands-on database skills, and the ability to analyze and resolve data-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare test data for banking and financial services testing projects, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Perform data extraction, validation, and manipulation using SQL and database tools
• Support testing activities related to card systems, including credit and debit cards, and the end-to-end transaction lifecycle
• Apply knowledge of ETL processes to understand data flow across upstream and downstream systems
• Implement and validate data masking techniques to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance
• Analyze data discrepancies across multiple systems and troubleshoot root causes effectively
• Collaborate with QA teams, developers, and business stakeholders to align test data with testing requirements
• Ensure timely availability of test data to support functional, integration, and regression testing cycles
• Document test data processes, assumptions, and resolutions for future reference and audits

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Test Data Analyst in Banking and Financial Services testing environments
• Strong SQL and database skills with the ability to handle complex data queries and analysis
• Solid understanding of the cards domain, including credit/debit card products and transaction workflows
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts and data masking methodologies
• Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues across interconnected systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy
• Familiarity with testing standards and certifications such as ISTQB is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
