Job Description - Test Engineer

ZakApps Software is hiring Test Engineers (Fresher / 0–1 Year Experience) to join our fast -growing QA team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to begin a strong career in software testing and quality assurance.

This is a Work from Office role located in Chennai.

Only Chennai -native / Chennai -based candidates are eligible to apply.

Requirements

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA – CS / IT streams only

What You’ll Work On

Functional, Regression and Integration Testing
Basic API validation using Postman / Swagger
Simple SQL queries for backend validation
Defect logging and tracking in Jira / Trello
Supporting UAT and working with product teams

Skills Required

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and Defect Life Cycle
Good communication and analytical skills
Familiarity with API testing and SQL fundamentals
Basic knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
