Job Description - TGT ENGLISH Teacher required for a school in Ambala,Haryana - ( Job ID - 23512)

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and curriculum -aligned English language instruction for Classes VI to VIII, adhering to the CBSE/State Board syllabus.
Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching strategies, including interactive activities, group discussions, and project -based learning.
Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, presentations, and examinations; provide timely and constructive feedback.
Foster reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through literature, creative writing, and oral presentations.
Integrate technology into teaching (e.g., digital tools, multimedia resources) to enhance learning outcomes.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and department heads to align teaching practices and support interdisciplinary learning.
Participate in school events, parent -teacher meetings, and professional development workshops.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English (B.A. English) with a B.Ed. qualification from a recognized university.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a CBSE or State Board school.
Strong command of spoken and written English, with excellent grammar and literary knowledge.
Proven ability to design and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology (e.g., Google Classroom, MS Office, interactive whiteboards).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
