CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2.

CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.

We are seeking applications for the position of Engineer-Track across India.

• Design ballastless track structures for underground tunnels, elevated viaducts, and ground-level sections.
• Design ballasted track components such as sleepers and other related structures.
• Develop track designs that include noise and vibration control measures.
• Design special track structures for yards and depots.
• Prepare key design documents like design basis reports and calculation reports, technical specifications etc.
• Review technical documents from vendors (e.g., for turnouts, buffer stops, fastening systems) to ensure they meet project standards. Should understand the main technical features of track components.
• Understand and manage interface requirements between track and other systems.
• Coordination with CAD and BIM team for production of drawings and models and review it as per the project requirement.
• Responsible for design coordination works to ensure swift and timely delivery of designs as per contractual timelines

• • M.E./M.Tech degree in a structural engineering or Railway engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in track design (Ballastless and Ballasted track).
• Knowledge about track components including fastening system, turnouts and crossovers, buffer stop.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Midas Civil, Adsec.
• Detailed knowledge of interface with track structures.
• Detailed knowledge of design of concrete and steel structures as per Eurocode.
• Knowledge of track construction principles and railway standards such as AREMA/UIC/EN. Good proficiency in Microsoft word, excel.
