Job Description - Trade Execution Specialist - Import, Export

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Trade Execution Specialist - Import, Export to join our team in Kochi, India. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our export and import operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods and services across international borders. As a specialist, you will also provide crucial administrative support to the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Export-Import Operations:

  • Oversee import and export operations, including customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with relevant regulations in India.
  • Coordinate shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and address any logistics challenges.
  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, collaborating with shipping companies and logistics providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and customs documentation.
  • Stay abreast of changes in customs regulations and adapt procedures accordingly.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to import-export operations, such as filing, reporting, and communication with relevant authorities.
  • Effectively resolve any customs-related issues or disputes.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to documentation, reports, inventory, and record-keeping.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Uphold a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Indian customs procedures, import and export regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Prior experience in international trade, encompassing import-export operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills for handling documentation, record-keeping, and coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customs clearance and international shipments.
  • Precision and accuracy in managing customs documents, invoices, and shipping records.
