Job Description - Trade Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business performance across Pan India by developing and executing targeted trade marketing strategies and activations. This role plays a pivotal part in achieving company -wide growth objectives by optimizing channel strategies, enhancing market presence, and maximizing ROI through data -driven planning and execution. The incumbent will lead the development and implementation of annual trade marketing plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with GMP and ISO standards. By fostering strong relationships with distributors, decision -makers, and internal stakeholders, the role ensures alignment with sales, marketing, and operational goals. The position is critical in identifying growth opportunities, expanding into new territories, and sustaining market leadership through continuous market analysis, customer satisfaction monitoring, and performance tracking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement region -specific Trade Marketing Strategies to achieve business objectives across all product categories.
Plan and execute key initiatives to strengthen distribution channels and improve market penetration.
Segment customer base and collaborate with P&L teams to optimize channel performance and maximize return on investment.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, venue partners, and senior executives.
Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of trade marketing programs aligned with annual marketing priorities.
Manage the Trade Marketing budget, ensuring cost control and financial discipline across all initiatives.
Deliver high -impact in -store planning, execution, and tracking to support campaign success.
Drive top -line and bottom -line growth, achieve sales targets, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Support the creation of regional business plans and Go -To -Market (GTM) strategies in coordination with NSH.
Monitor customer satisfaction and service delivery to ensure client delight and retention.
Conduct industry trend analysis, market share tracking, and competitive SWOT analysis to inform commercial strategies.
Review monthly financial metrics and business drivers, reporting insights to top management.
Lead market expansion into new territories while deepening presence in existing markets.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or business development within FMCG or consumer goods.
Proven track record in developing and executing large -scale trade marketing campaigns across multiple regions.
Strong analytical skills with experience in financial performance review and budget management.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities with experience working with senior leadership.
In -depth knowledge of GMP, ISO, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and data -driven decision -making.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and channel optimization.
Ability to manage cross -functional teams and lead initiatives with minimal supervision.
