Role Overview

As a Digital Asset Trade Operations Specialist, you will manage end-to-end settlement workflows, safeguard ledger integrity, and act as the primary operational point of contact for institutional counterparties. You will collaborate closely with Trading, Treasury, Risk, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution and liquidity across the digital asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Counterparty & Settlement Management: Serve as the main operational contact for an assigned portfolio of institutional counterparties. Execute trade settlements within agreed SLAs and track operational performance against KPIs.

  
  


• 
  

  Reconciliation & Data Integrity: Perform daily multi-system reconciliations across internal ledgers and external platforms (custodians, exchanges, banking partners). Swiftly identify, investigate, and resolve breaks to ensure 100% data accuracy.

  Treasury & Inventory Monitoring: Track daily inventory requirements for trading, settlement, lending, and borrowing activities. Partner directly with Treasury Management to optimize asset location and liquidity.

  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Trading, Product, and Customer Success teams to understand client needs, refine execution workflows, and deliver a best-in-class institutional trading experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Accounting & Financial Reporting: Ensure complete and timely transmission of trade, settlement, and fee data to the Accounting team for accurate end-of-day positioning and ledger closing.

  Risk, Compliance & Controls: Provide operational inputs to Risk and Compliance teams to build pragmatic, scalable controls that adapt to an evolving regulatory landscape.

  Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate current operations to identify coverage gaps, automate manual touchpoints, and harden reconciliation frameworks against operational errors.

  
  

Key Requirements

• 
  

  Professional Experience: 4–8 years in middle office, trade operations, or settlements at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, Proprietary Trading Firm, or Digital Asset Brokerage.

  
  


• 
  

  Domain Passion: Strong desire to build deep expertise in digital asset market structures, blockchain mechanics, and protocols (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, layer-1/layer-2 networks, custodial infrastructure).

  
  


• 
  

  Process & Work Discipline: Meticulous organizational skills with a habit of using structured workflows, checklists, and operational metrics to drive execution.

  
  


• 
  

  High-Pressure Execution: Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask under tight settlement windows, and remain decisive in a dynamic environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
