Trainer - Civil & Survey

Indovance is a fast-growing company seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join as a Trainer – Civil & Survey Projects (US-Based Projects). The ideal candidate will be responsible for training and mentoring engineers on Civil Engineering and Land Survey projects while ensuring alignment with industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Training Development & Delivery

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for:
  




• Land Development projects
  


• Land Survey projects
  




• Conduct training on:
  




• Site Plan Preparation
  


• Alignment & Corridor Design
  


• Drainage Analysis
  


• Utility Design
  


• Parking & Lot Design
  


• Pond Design
  


• Topographic & Boundary Surveys
  


• ALTA Surveys
  


• As-Built Drawings
  

Mentorship & Evaluation

• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
  


• Review trainee work and provide constructive feedback
  


• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate learning progress and readiness
  

Curriculum & Standards

• Continuously update training materials in line with:
  




• Industry best practices
  


• Environmental regulations
  


• US/local/international codes and standards
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with senior engineering teams to identify skill gaps
  


• Develop specialized training programs based on project and client requirements
  

Software Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  




• AutoCAD
  


• Civil 3D
  


• HydroCAD
  


• HEC-RAS
  


• HEC-HMS
  




• Experience with Carlson software will be an added advantage
  

Requirements

Education & Experience

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  


• 3–4 years of experience in:
  




• Land Development projects
  


• Land Survey projects
  

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Civil 3D and HydroCAD
  


• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
  


• Knowledge of:
  




• Residential & Commercial Subdivision Projects
  


• Hydrology & Drainage Design
  


• Storm, Sewer & Water Utility Networks
  

Additional Requirements

• Strong understanding of Land Development codes and standards
  


• Excellent attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
  


• Process-oriented mindset with strong communication and mentoring skills
