Training & Education Leader, EurAsia - Core Surgical & CS

About the Role:

Lead Training & Education (T&E) strategy for the respective therapy area across EurAsia, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and impactful education programs for healthcare professionals and internal teams. Drive physician engagement, relation and capability development aligned with therapy area priorities, while leading the digital and virtual transformation of education delivery.

Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute T&E strategy for the respective therapy area in alignment with regional and global priorities.
  • Digital & Virtual Transformation
    • Own and lead the adoption of digital platforms, virtual learning models, and AI-driven tools for therapy-area education.
    • Champion innovation by embedding technology into all training programs for scalability and enhanced learner experience.
  • Program Development & Delivery: Design and deliver education programs for HCPs and internal teams using modern, data-driven approaches.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with physicians, therapy area leaders, Medical Societies, Academic partners and commercial teams.
    • Ensure compliant and value-driven engagement.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor program effectiveness through analytics and continuously improve delivery models.
  • People Leadership: Manage and develop a team of trainers. Foster inclusion and capability growth.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage therapy area T&E budget and optimize resources.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant training or medical education experience with 5+ years of managerial experience; or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing technology-enabled education solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of therapy area and healthcare education.
  • Ability to lead digital and virtual learning transformation.
  • Strategic planning and execution capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools and digital learning platforms.
  • People leadership experience.

Success Measures

  • Achievement of training KPIs (coverage, quality, compliance).
  • Physician engagement and satisfaction metrics.
  • Team performance and capability development.
  • Digital adoption rate and integration of virtual learning models.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik:  Poland: 336,320.00 PLN - 504,480.00 PLN | 

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
