Treaty - Reinsurance & Speciality Lines

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 10–12+ years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on exposure to Treaty Placement.
• Strong understanding of Specialty Lines, particularly Surety Bonds, Trade Credit, Liability, A&H and/or Cyber.
• Proven experience independently handling treaty structuring, negotiation and placement with reinsurers/brokers.
• Established relationships with domestic and international reinsurers, insurers and brokers, along with the ability to develop new market opportunities.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and expand existing Treaty Reinsurance portfolios across Specialty Lines.
• Drive business growth through cedant engagement, opportunity identification and solution structuring.
• Lead treaty negotiations and placements with insurers, reinsurers and brokers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international reinsurance markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and support expansion across India and international territories.
• Develop reinsurance solutions across Surety Bonds, Trade Credit, Liability, Accident & Health (A&H), and Cyber Risk.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial and business teams to structure appropriate treaty solutions.
• Monitor market capacity, pricing and emerging trends across Specialty Lines.
• Contribute to portfolio growth, revenue generation and overall treaty strategy.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships and represent the organisation in relevant market meetings and industry forums.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Graduate in any discipline; AIII/III, ACII, CII or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10–12+ years of experience in Reinsurance, with strong hands-on exposure to Treaty Placement.
• Experience in Specialty Lines such as Surety, Trade Credit, Liability, A&H and/or Cyber preferred.
