We are looking for a UAV / System Engineer to work on the integration, testing, and optimization of our autonomous drone platforms. The role involves complete system -level ownership — from assembling and configuring UAV components to validating flight performance, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring safe and reliable deployment.
You will collaborate with cross -functional teams (embedded, mechanical, electronics, AI, field operations) to build high -performance aerial systems used in logistics, surveillance, and industrial missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, integrate, and configure UAV platforms including frame, propulsion, flight controllers, payloads, and communication systems.
- Perform ground and flight testing, analyse logs, and recommend improvements.
- Integrate sensors such as GPS, IMUs, cameras, LiDAR, telemetry, and RF modules.
- Work with flight control stacks (PX4/ArduPilot) for tuning, calibration, and parameter optimisation.
- Debug system -level issues involving hardware, firmware, networking, and power systems.
- Ensure safety standards, pre -flight and post -flight procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to validate new hardware and software updates.
- Support customer deployments and provide technical troubleshooting when required.
- Contribute to improving system reliability, endurance, and mission performance.
- Strong understanding of UAV systems, multirotors, and fixed -wing platforms.
- Experience with PX4 or ArduPilot, including tuning and parameter configuration.
- Knowledge of sensors: GPS, IMU, LiDAR, cameras, telemetry, RC systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, CAN, I2C, SPI) and power systems.
- Hands -on experience in UAV assembly, system integration, wiring, and testing.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot electronic components.
- Experience analyzing flight logs (e.g., PX4/ArduPilot logs).
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, and basic scripting is a plus.
- Drone pilot experience or DGCA certification is an advantage (not mandatory).
- Strong problem -solving ability and analytical mindset.
- Comfortable working in fast -paced R&D and field environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High sense of ownership, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
