UI Automation

We are looking for an experienced UI Automation Engineer / Senior UI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience with Playwright, C#, and JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation strategies, and CI/CD practices. This role offers an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale applications while contributing to quality engineering excellence and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
  


• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
  


• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  


• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  


• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
  


• Improve automation coverage and optimize existing automation suites.
  


• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to automation best practices.
  


• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  


• Prepare and maintain automation documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
  


• Mentor junior automation engineers and provide technical guidance where required.
  


• Contribute to test strategy, framework enhancements, and quality improvement initiatives.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 6–7.5 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in UI Automation Testing.
  


• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework.
  


• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript.
  


• Basic working knowledge of Python.
  


• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
  


• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
  


• Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile development environments.
  


• Knowledge of regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  


• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and automation best practices.
  


• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  


• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  


• Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC) or Senior Automation Engineer.
