Job Description - UI Designer

Location : Chennai – work from office

Mostly Indian Timings – 11 am to 8.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

ï Update product imagery and UI elements in Photoshop comps, and output web graphics

ï Structure Photoshop comps to optimise efficient production design and localisation workflows
using slices, smart objects, and layer comps

ï Track and check on web graphics using a version control system

ï Work closely with producers, traffic, development, publishing, and international teams to meet
project goals and ensure efficient file hand offs for localisation

ï Review final webpages and HTML email with an exacting eye, ensuring that graphics and
layouts are flawless.

ï Support training of newer team members

Requirements:

ï A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 5 years equivalent experience in a hands -on,
high -volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment (or equivalent)

ï Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic
design standards

ï Excellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML email

ï Solid standards -based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge

ï Highly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel

ï Thrives in a challenging, fast -paced web publishing workplace

ï Self -motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, both written and
verbal

ï Establishes rapport and collaborates easily with designers and web developers

ï Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and checking process, while also identifying
opportunities for improvement

ï Ability to be client facing

ï Proficiency in OS & iOS software

ï Good awareness of current and emerging technologies

ï Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results -oriented with high energy and a positive attitude
