UI/UX Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with 3+ years of experience and a strong focus on user interface design, backed by solid UX fundamentals. The ideal candidate is a visual craftsperson who can turn complex enterprise problems into clean, intuitive, pixel-perfect interfaces, while owning and scaling design systems that keep products consistent across teams.

You will work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable, and accessible digital experiences for web and enterprise applications. We are also looking for someone who actively uses AI tools to work faster and smarter, and who can think critically about how AI is reshaping the way products are designed and experienced.

This is an on-site role based in Pune. Candidates currently located in Pune will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

UI Design & Visual Execution

• Design pixel-perfect, high-fidelity UI for web, mobile, and enterprise applications


• Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, colour theory, grid, spacing, and layout principles


• Craft polished states, micro-interactions, and responsive behaviour across breakpoints


• Own the visual quality of the product and raise the overall craft bar across screens

Design Systems & Component Libraries

• Build, scale, and maintain design systems, component libraries, and design tokens in Figma


• Define reusable components, variants, and usage guidelines that keep products consistent


• Govern the system: document standards, manage versioning, and drive adoption across teams

  Partner with engineering to keep design tokens and coded components in sync

  
  

UX Foundations & Problem Understanding

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand user needs, workflows, and business goals


• Translate requirements into user journeys, task flows, and information architecture


• Apply usability principles and heuristics to simplify complex enterprise workflows


• Support and interpret usability research to validate and improve design decisions

Wireframing & Prototyping

• Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes to explore and communicate ideas quickly


• Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate flows, interactions, and edge cases


• Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing

AI-Driven Design & Efficiency

• Use AI tools (e.g. for ideation, content, imagery, and rapid prototyping) to speed up and sharpen design work


• Bring a point of view on how AI is changing UX patterns for AI-assisted and generative interfaces, and their impact on user trust


• Design intuitive experiences for AI-powered features, including prompts, outputs, error states, and human oversight


• Evaluate where AI genuinely improves a workflow versus where it adds friction, and design accordingly

Collaboration with Engineering

• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate, high-fidelity implementation of designs


• Provide clear design documentation and specs in coordination with the Product Manager


• Review builds against designs and support the team through to release

Stay Current with Industry Trends

• Stay updated on UI trends, UX methodologies, AI in design, and emerging tools


• Bring new ideas that improve product usability, design quality, and team velocity

Portfolio: Showcase a portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your skills, creative thinking, and attention to detail.

Technical Skills: UI Design, Design Systems, Visual Design, UX Strategy, Wireframing, Prototyping, AI-assisted Design.

Mandatory Skills: Figma (with Design Systems), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.

Education Qualification: A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
