URBN - Java and_AI

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineer with strong Java development experience and exposure to AI/ML technologies to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications. The ideal candidate will work on building intelligent, data -driven systems by integrating AI capabilities with robust Java -based backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high -performance Java -based applications and microservices.
  

• Integrate AI/ML models and services into enterprise applications.
  

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java frameworks.
  

• Implement data pipelines and model integration workflows.
  

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  

• Collaborate with cross -functional teams including product, data, and DevOps teams..
  

Required Technical Skills

Programming & Backend

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+)
  

• Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework
  

• Microservices architecture and REST API development
  

• Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases
  

AI / ML & Data

• Understanding of Machine Learning concepts
  

• Experience integrating AI/ML models via APIs or frameworks
  

• Familiarity with Python for AI/ML workflows
  

Cloud & Tools

• Experience with GCP
  

• Containerization using Docker / Kubernetes
  

• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
  

• Version control using Git
  

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Java development
  

• Exposure to AI/ML or data -driven applications

• Strong problem -solving and analytical skills
  

• Ability to work in agile development environments
