URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT GYNAECOLOGIST

Location: Tinsukia, Assam

POSITION

Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

QUALIFICATION

• MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology

• DGO

• Valid NMC / Assam Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Candidates with strong clinical, obstetric and surgical exposure will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Obstetrics & Gynaecology OPD consultations

• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies

• Provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care

• Conduct normal vaginal deliveries and Caesarean sections as per expertise

• Manage obstetric emergencies including PPH, eclampsia, ectopic pregnancy and other emergency conditions

• Diagnose and manage common and complex gynaecological conditions

• Manage PCOS, fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders, infections and menopausal problems

• Perform gynaecological procedures and surgeries as per expertise

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care

• Monitor patients and manage complications appropriately

• Coordinate with Paediatricians, Anaesthesiologists, Physicians, Surgeons and other specialists

• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, procedures and follow-up

• Maintain accurate clinical records, case sheets and operative documentation

• Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital requirements

• Follow hospital, infection-control, patient-safety and clinical protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong clinical and obstetric management skills

• Good surgical and procedural expertise

• Ability to manage obstetric emergencies

• Excellent patient counselling and communication skills

• Strong clinical decision-making abilities

• Good multidisciplinary coordination

• Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach
