business growth of a premium luxury resort in Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand.
This is a leadership opportunity for a seasoned hospitality
professional with substantial experience in 5-star luxury hotels, exclusive
resorts, boutique luxury properties, destination retreats, or high-end
experiential hospitality establishments. The ideal candidate will combine
operational excellence and impeccable service standards with strong commercial
acumen, relationship management capabilities, and the ability to attract
high-value clientele.
The candidate must have a proven ability to develop business
through social events, corporate engagements, destination weddings, and
premium leisure travel, supported by an established network of travel
consultants, tour operators, wedding planners, event management companies,
corporate decision-makers, and affluent customers.
We are particularly interested in professionals who
understand the expectations of discerning guests and can deliver an exceptional
luxury experience while strengthening the resort's reputation, occupancy,
revenue, and overall market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall Resort Management & Leadership
- Take
complete responsibility for the resort's day-to-day operations, business
performance, guest experience, and overall profitability.
- Provide
strategic direction and leadership to all departments, including Front
Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Sales & Marketing,
Events, Engineering, Security, and Administration.
- Establish
and maintain exceptional standards of luxury hospitality, personalised
service, presentation, guest comfort, and operational efficiency.
- Develop
operational plans, budgets, departmental targets, and
performance-monitoring systems in line with the resort's business
objectives.
- Lead,
mentor, and motivate the team to build a professional, service-oriented,
and performance-driven work culture.
- Ensure
effective coordination between departments and consistent delivery of the
resort's service promise.
2. Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Drive
overall revenue growth, occupancy, average room rates, event revenue, food
and beverage sales, and ancillary income.
- Develop
and execute business development strategies targeting premium leisure
travellers, affluent families, corporate clients, destination wedding
customers, and luxury travel segments.
- Build
strong referral networks and strategic partnerships with luxury travel
advisors, tour operators, destination management companies, wedding
planners, event agencies, and corporate travel partners.
- Proactively
develop new business opportunities through networking, industry
relationships, targeted outreach, client meetings, and
relationship-building initiatives.
- Identify
opportunities for weekday corporate business, off-sites, leadership
retreats, social celebrations, private gatherings, and high-value group
bookings.
- Monitor
market trends, competitor positioning, guest preferences, and commercial
performance to identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
3. Social Events, Corporate Engagements & Destination
Weddings
- Develop
and grow the resort's business from weddings, pre-wedding celebrations,
anniversaries, milestone birthdays, family gatherings, social functions,
and exclusive private events.
- Establish
productive relationships with wedding planners, event management
companies, decorators, entertainment providers, premium vendors, and
destination wedding specialists.
- Build
corporate business through relationships with companies, senior
executives, corporate event planners, and organizations seeking premium
off-sites, conferences, retreats, and team engagements.
- Manage
the planning and execution of events from initial inquiry and site
inspection through proposals, commercial negotiations, coordination,
execution, and post-event relationship management.
- Ensure
that events are delivered seamlessly, with meticulous attention to detail,
personalized service, presentation, food quality, ambience, and guest
satisfaction.
- Develop
packages and experiences suited to the resort's positioning, operational
capacity, and target clientele.
- Maintain
a strong pipeline of prospective events and ensure systematic follow-up,
conversion, and repeat business.
4. Luxury Guest Experience & Relationship Management
- Ensure
personalized, discreet, and consistently exceptional service for all
guests, particularly high-value clients, VIPs, corporate leaders, wedding
families, and repeat visitors.
- Build
relationships with elite customers, premium travel partners, and
influential referral sources to encourage repeat visits and
recommendations.
- Oversee
guest feedback, service recovery, complaint resolution, and continuous
improvement in service delivery.
- Anticipate
the expectations of luxury travelers and create memorable, differentiated
guest experiences.
- Promote
a culture of ownership, responsiveness, discretion, and attention to
detail across all guest-facing teams.
5. Sales, Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Work
closely with sales and marketing teams to strengthen the resort's
visibility and positioning within the luxury hospitality and destination
resort market.
- Support
the development of strategic sales initiatives, corporate tie-ups, travel
trade partnerships, wedding packages, and promotional campaigns.
- Participate
in relevant hospitality networking opportunities, trade engagements,
client presentations, familiarisation visits, and industry events.
- Ensure
consistent communication of the resort's unique experiences, accommodation
offerings, dining, events, and destination appeal.
- Develop
long-term relationships with key accounts and referral partners rather
than relying solely on online bookings and transactional business.
6. Financial Management & Operational Controls
- Prepare
and monitor operating budgets, revenue forecasts, departmental expenses,
payroll costs, and profitability.
- Exercise
effective cost control without compromising luxury service standards or
guest satisfaction.

- Ensure
effective inventory management, purchasing controls, vendor negotiations,
and resource utilisation.
- Review
business performance regularly and implement corrective measures wherever
required.
7. Compliance, Safety & Property Standards
- Ensure
adherence to applicable statutory requirements, licences, hospitality
regulations, food safety standards, fire and life-safety requirements, and
internal operating procedures.
- Maintain
high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, hygiene, security, and overall
property presentation.
- Coordinate
with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the resort's facilities,
rooms, public areas, and guest amenities remain in excellent condition.
- Promote
responsible resource utilization and environmentally conscious operating
practices appropriate to a nature-oriented resort destination.
