Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated PRT English Teacher to teach students in Grades I to V under the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of English grammar and literature, and the ability to create an engaging, child-friendly learning environment that promotes language proficiency and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English to primary grade students in accordance with the ICSE curriculum.
  
• Prepare engaging lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities.
  
• Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, phonics, listening, and speaking skills.
  
• Foster creativity through storytelling, creative writing, poetry, dramatization, and interactive classroom activities.
  
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
  
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
  
• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
  
• Integrate digital teaching tools and innovative teaching methodologies into daily lessons.
  
• Participate in school events, assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and student development.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English (B.A./M.A. English).
  
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a school preferred.
