About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Urologist to join our esteemed team at a leading multi-specialty hospital. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Urologist looking to provide high-quality care while working collaboratively in a professional and supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Diagnosis & Treatment:
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urological disorders including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, incontinence, and prostate conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as uroflowmetry, cystoscopy, and urodynamics studies.
• Recommend appropriate treatments and medications for various urological ailments.
• Surgical Procedures:
• Perform minimally invasive and open surgical procedures such as TURP, PCNL, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, and other advanced urological surgeries.
• Expertise in endourology, laparoscopy, and andrology will be considered an advantage.
• Patient Management:
• Monitor patient progress post-treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide consultation to other departments and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Offer counseling and follow-up care to patients and their families.
• Administrative and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records of all patients.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and medical ethics.
• Participate in audits, quality assurance, and improvement programs.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with the nursing staff, medical officers, radiologists, nephrologists, and anesthetists for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in regular departmental meetings and contribute to clinical case presentations and knowledge sharing.
• Academic Contribution (if applicable):
• Mentor junior doctors and medical interns, and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of urology and incorporate evidence-based practices.

Skills & Competencies:

• Sound clinical knowledge of male and female urological health and disorders.
• Skilled in both outpatient and inpatient care, with a keen diagnostic acumen.
• Proficient in modern urological techniques and minimally invasive surgeries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency urological cases.
• Commitment to patient safety, hygiene, and ethical medical practice.

Eligibility Criteria:

• M.Ch/DNB in Urology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed hospital or clinical setup.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or relevant State Medical Council.
