### *Responsibilities*
- Perform and oversee complex urological surgeries including cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), vasectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplantation, orchiectomy, kidney stone surgery, and penile prosthesis implantation.
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, diagnostic imaging interpretation, and laboratory analysis.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for conditions such as urinary incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate and bladder cancer, kidney stones, congenital anomalies, and erectile dysfunction.
- Utilize advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques to minimize patient trauma, reduce recovery time, and improve surgical outcomes.
- Manage post -operative care, monitor patient recovery, and adjust treatment protocols as needed.
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital -wide safety protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in urological science, surgical techniques, and medical technology through continuous professional development.
- Contribute to academic and research activities, including case studies, publications, and participation in clinical trials.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff, residents, and medical students.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with MD/MS in Urology or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized medical institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of post -qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized urology setting.
- Proven expertise in performing advanced urological procedures including cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, vasectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplantation, orchiectomy, kidney stone surgery (including ESWL, ureteroscopy, and PCNL), and penile prosthesis implantation.
- In -depth knowledge of stone treatment protocols, including medical expulsive therapy, endoscopic stone removal, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
- Proficiency in using endoscopic equipment, laparoscopic systems, and intraoperative imaging modalities.
- Strong diagnostic acumen and ability to interpret urodynamic studies, imaging (CT urogram, MRI, ultrasound), and pathology reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families with empathy and clarity.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a valid license to practice.
- Willingness to be on -call and participate in emergency urological care as required.
