This role focuses on execution excellence, team leadership, and control discipline, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives under established U.S. CPE governance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Execution & Delivery

  • Manage execution of contractually governed and government-impacted commercial processes under tight execution, payment, and reporting timelines, with downstream financial reporting impact.
  • Ensure delivery against defined service levels, quality standards, and operational KPIs.
  • Identify execution issues, risks, and bottlenecks; drive resolution and escalate appropriately.

Systems & Process Management

  • Oversee operational activities within Revenue Management Systems supporting U.S. commercial contract and pricing execution.
  • Ensure teams follow established processes, system controls, and data integrity standards.
  • Partner with IS and business stakeholders to support defect resolution, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Reinforce consistent application of SOPs, documentation, and governance standards.

Controls, Compliance & Risk

  • Execute and support SOX-controlled processes, including control performance, documentation, evidence preparation, and audit support.
  • Work in close alignment with U.S. Contracts & Pricing Execution (CPE), and partner with Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Audit to support audit readiness and timely remediation of findings.
  • Proactively identify operational, financial, and compliance risks and implement mitigation actions.

U.S. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a key execution contact for U.S. stakeholders on in-scope activities, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Communicate operational status, risks, and progress clearly to leadership.
  • Support governance forums, operating rhythms, and reporting cadences.

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and individual contributors supporting CPE execution.
  • Drive performance management, skill development, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, attention to detail, ownership, and continuous improvement aligned with Amgen Values.
