Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role will also support tax planning efforts by maintaining key schedules and projections, helping the organization remain both compliant and forward-thinking.

"What You Can Expect to Do"

• Update depreciation schedules used for income tax projections.
  
• Prepare and review business tax returns, including Form 1065 (Partnership Returns) and Form 1120 (Corporate Returns).
  
• Manage workflow processes and maintain an organized filing system.
  
• Coordinate the distribution of investor K-1s through the investor portal.
  
• Maintain and update the tax payment tracker.
  
• Update income tax projections throughout the year.
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  

What You Should Have"

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 2 to 3 years of experience in federal tax compliance within a public accounting firm.
  
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Form 1065 (Partnership Tax Returns) and Form 1120 (Corporate Tax Returns).
  
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation and K-1 reporting.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  
• Experience in multifamily real estate is preferred.
  
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
