US Tax Senior (Business Tax Preparer & Reviewer)

We are seeking an experienced US Tax Senior (Business Tax Preparer & Reviewer) to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and quality of US federal and state tax returns. This role involves reviewing individual and business tax filings, providing technical guidance to preparers, and ensuring adherence to US tax laws and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Review US Individual Income Tax Returns (Form 1040) and all related schedules.


• Review US Business Tax Returns, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120S.


• Review state and local tax returns to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.


• Ensure correct application of US tax laws, credits, deductions, and tax elections.


• Identify errors, compliance risks, and potential tax-saving opportunities.


• Provide clear technical feedback and guidance to tax preparers.


• Conduct tax research on complex issues and document conclusions and positions.


• Ensure timely and accurate completion of reviews during peak tax seasons.


• Maintain high-quality workpapers, documentation, and audit trails.


• Coordinate with onshore teams and address reviewer queries efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S.


• In-depth knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax regulations.


• Experience identifying compliance risks and optimization opportunities.


• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain quality during high-volume periods.
