Job Title: UX Researcher

Location: Bangalore or Remote  
Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)  
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days  
Budget: ₹80,000–90,000 per month  
Experience: 5+ years  

About the Role  
We’re seeking a seasoned UX Researcher to lead user-research initiatives and uncover actionable insights that drive product decisions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure our solutions meet real user needs and deliver exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities  
• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, surveys, usability tests, diary studies)  
• Define research objectives, recruit participants, and develop discussion guides and protocols  
• Analyze findings, create personas, journey maps, and research reports that clearly communicate insights and recommendations  
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate research into user-focused design solutions  
• Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle and prioritize features based on research outcomes  
• Monitor and report on UX metrics (task success, time on task, SUS, NPS) to measure impact  
• Mentor junior researchers and evangelize best practices across the organization  

Required Qualifications  
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field  
• 5+ years of hands-on UX research experience on web and mobile products  
• Expertise in mixed-methods research: usability testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, analytics  
• Proficiency with research and prototyping tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Morae, Figma)  
• Strong data analysis and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives backed by data  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills  

Nice to Have  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments  
• Background in accessibility and inclusive design  
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, Python)  
• Published case studies or presentations at UX conferences
