V & V, Engineer

Your responsibilities will include Develop and lead the execution of the V&;V strategy and verification roadmap. Execute core V&;V activities for Planning and Advanced Development projects. Ensure accuracy and clarity of lab requests and reports. Support design reviews with active participation. Provide traceable and complete approval documentation with appropriate context for project phases. Ensure clearly defined requirements are validated or verified. Support continuous improvement of consumer satisfaction through internal validation correlations identified by Quality Function Deployment (QFD) assessments. Support Manufacturing Quality Leads to ensure process conformance and compliance. Support requests for post-launch V&;V needs as required Process &; Organizational Proficiency: Develop comprehensive test plans in collaboration with laboratory and simulation teams to effectively support design V&;V needs. Support the creation of "test-to-failure" and verification methods to understand design limits and factors influencing the design. Monitor ongoing tests to ensure all test requirements are met. Effectively manage the demand and supply of lab testing resources. Proactively engage with Codes, Safety, and Regulatory engineers to integrate the latest requirements into V&;V plans. Confirm that targets are met for all product certifications. Prepare comprehensive Test Reports. V&;V strategies and plans for multiple projects with detailed risk mitigation actions. Comprehensive reports on failure analysis and validation status across all phases of development. Test plans aligned with the platform team, executable according to WPD project timelines. Continuous improvement activities for future projects Certifications (Preferred): Opex Black Belt ( Six Sigma) Certified AND / OR Design For Reliability Experience: Minimum 8+ years in Engineering and Technical product development, with a preference for diverse experience across different areas. Technical: Understanding and ability to perform theoretical and practical engineering analysis. Experience with "Test to Fail" and "Test to Pass" experimentation. Good technical awareness and clarity regarding basic engineering concepts. Ability to prepare comprehensive Test Reports. Effective discussion with the project team for planning testing activities. Highly Preferred: Knowledge and/or experience in refrigeration, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Provide direction and leadership to other engineers, ensuring their knowledge and input are incorporated into structured problem-solving. Effective collaboration and partnership with cross-functional teams. Maintain a Continuous Improvement mindset: both 'doing the work' and 'improving the work'. Mentor and actively share knowledge with engineers within the area and across cross-functional teams. Sound overall technical knowledge. Understanding and ability to perform theoretical and practical engineering analysis. Experience with "Test to Fail" and "Test to Pass" experimentation. Good technical awareness and clarity regarding basic engineering concepts. Knowledge of Basic HVAC / Refrigeration components. Basic knowledge of electrical safety concepts and standards. Fundamentals of D-FMEA and Validation Plans. Lead investigations of major complexity, applying advanced problem-solving skills and guiding trade-off decisions, while mentoring other engineers. Expand and apply core foundational knowledge into projects, ensuring the creation, capture, and re-use of technical knowledge. Maintain and expand organizational capability by taking ownership of specific competency areas. Advanced understanding and application of product category requirements translation and verification methods.
