Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) or equivalent


• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in vendor engineering, preferably in manufacturing (e.g., CNC turning, grinding, milling, boring, hardening)


• Technical Skills:
  
  
  
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings
  
  
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes (CNC machining, surface finishing, heat treatment)
  
  
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel for data analysis & reporting)
  
  
  
  


• Vendor Management:
  
  
  
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing new suppliers
  
  
  • Ability to assess vendor capabilities, quality standards, and production capacity
  
  
  • Proven track record in vendor performance evaluation (quality, cost, delivery, service)
  
  
  • Skill in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts to drive cost-effectiveness
  
  
  
  


• Soft Skills:
  
  
  
  • Strong coordination abilities with internal teams and external vendors
  
  
  • Detail-oriented with ability to ensure timely material availability
