Core Responsibilities

1. Vendor Strategy & Relationship Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new recruitment vendors (agencies, search firms, job boards) based on business needs and hiring forecasts.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all TA vendors, resolving escalations and operational roadblocks.

Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key partners to review performance, compliance, and strategic alignment.

Maintain a preferred supplier list (PSL) and ensure internal hiring managers and recruiters utilize approved vendors.

2. Contract & Commercial Management

Partner with Procurement and Legal teams to negotiate favorable terms, fee structures, and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).

Monitor vendor spend, validate invoices, and track the overall TA vendor budget.

Ensure all vendor contracts are compliant with internal risk, data privacy, and security policies.

3. Performance Tracking & Analytics

Define, track, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all external partners.

Analyze vendor data to evaluate ROI, quality of hires, and speed of delivery.

Provide regular reporting to TA leadership on vendor performance metrics and market trends.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner closely with internal TA Leaders and Recruiters to understand hiring bottlenecks and deploy vendor support strategically.

Educate and train internal teams on vendor engagement processes and best practices.

Act as the liaison between Finance, Procurement, and TA to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and payment processing.

Business Development & Client Growth

Proactively identify, target, and acquire new enterprise clients who require staffing, RPO, or specialized talent acquisition services.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Procurement, or HR Operations, with at least 2 years directly managing recruitment vendors or agency relationships.

Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of negotiating commercial terms, SLAs, and MSAs with external staffing partners.

Analytical Ability: Strong proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable vendor strategies.

Systems Knowledge: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS).

Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR leaders).
