As a Venture Fund Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support venture investment activities. You will work closely with senior leadership to position the fund effectively within the investment ecosystem, communicate the fund’s vision to potential investors, and build long-term partnerships that contribute to sustained capital inflow. The role demands a strong understanding of venture capital structures, fund lifecycle management, and investor expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital from institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals
• Build and manage strong relationships with limited partners and prospective investors
• Lead investor outreach initiatives and maintain a consistent pipeline of fundraising opportunities
• Present the fund’s investment thesis, strategy, and portfolio performance to potential investors
• Coordinate and manage fundraising cycles, including due diligence, negotiations, and closing processes
• Work closely with internal investment teams to align fundraising efforts with fund strategy and portfolio objectives
• Prepare investor presentations, pitch materials, and investment documentation
• Represent the fund at investor meetings, industry events, and venture capital conferences
• Monitor market trends within venture capital and identify new fundraising opportunities
• Maintain transparent and consistent communication with existing investors regarding fund performance and updates

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Minimum 12 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or fundraising-focused roles
• Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors, family offices, or high-net-worth individuals
• Strong understanding of venture capital fund structures, investment strategies, and the fundraising lifecycle
• Extensive professional network within the investment and startup ecosystem
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to build long-term relationships with investors and strategic stakeholders
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of investment markets
• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop scalable capital-raising strategies
• High level of professionalism and credibility when representing the fund to investors
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and investment teams
